This shop sprang from my book of the same name. I work as a psychologist, speaker and mindfulness meditation teacher and I am passionate about the importance of spirituality ( of all faiths and none) to health.
“The Seven Day Soul: Finding Meaning Beneath the Noise” looks at what the research says about spirituality and wellbeing in all areas of life – in family life, in the education and healthcare systems, in business and the workplace, in architecture and in government ( hence the name – spirituality is for every day of our lives). From this, I realised that the more little prompts (or “tilts” as I call them) that we have in our lives to visit the stillness within, to be compassionate when we don’t feel like it, to find awe, the more we will be able to practise and grow these values in our lives.
I believe spiritual health is hugely important to good mental health and I hope that these products will “tilt” us towards being our best selves, while also acknowledging that we are always enough. So, as you can see in my jewellery collection, some of the messages are just for the wearer- a small whisper in their ear to remind them “I am enough” and a little point of contact with their inner calm which they can hold when the world seems scary. When we feel strong, we can be a reminder to others that #EvenStrangersCare.
